Descant: October 23, 2017

Welcome to Q2 when the weather gets cold and the uniforms get hot! That’s right, this week we are switching to our cold weather uniforms. Ju-st in case you missed it last week...That means no more short sleeved shirts. You must wear a Tie and the only jackets are the KISJ blazer or baseball jacket.
Lately, we’ve had a few students turn up with sticky fingers. This is the unfortunate effect of being way too comfortable in your environment mixed with poor behavior. Don’t leave your stuff around and expect it will always be there when you get back. More importantly, don’t steal..this isn’t utopia (yet).

When we go to the Pac for assemblies, presentations or other things we should be paying attention to, its always best to show decency and respect to those presenting by not using your MacBook. Please don’t use your devices in the PAC. I know. It’s really, really hard to ignore your Mac whenever you have the chance to look at it, but…its only good manners.
Seniors begin senior privileges this week. Remember you must checkin to your study hall, in person, before going anywhere else. Failure to do so will result in a tardy or absence.
This Wednesday is the Q1 DRAGONStars! party…lets eat some donuts Dragons!

DRAGONS Q&A

I’ve asked our HS faculty members a few questions and I’ll give you the answer. If you are the first to guess the correct faculty member, you’ll get yourself a donut!!  To submit your guess, reply to the email I send each week but remember to reply to me only.  Do not reply all.
Can you guess which teacher gave the answers to the following questions? Last week no one was able to guess the DRAGONS Q&A faculty member, Mrs. Cave!
What was one of your favorite songs in high school?
Where did you dream about traveling to when you were in high school?
Great Britain.
What did you like to do with your friends in high school?
Listening to music, playing in my band.
Do you have any interesting high school fun facts?
I was the NHS club president my senior year.
How many years have you been a teacher?
12
