Dragon Descant 30 October 2017

Happy Halloween everyone I hope you had a good time at the Student Council party!

Library construction will begin Friday, 27th October 2017, there will be construction happening in the high school library. The reason for this is the textbook room is being relocated to the library.
Although most of this building work will not happen during school hours, we apologize for any inconvenience that this will cause. Please be aware that to accommodate the textbooks, we will no longer have the study room.
Construction will begin Friday, 27th October 2017, and should be finished by Thursday, 9th November 2017.
Thanks for your understanding,
Ms Cave and Ms Lee

Earlier, I asked everyone to go to the business office to order your KISJ baseball jacket but actually, that was bad advice. Instead, you should go directly to our uniform vendor where you bought the rest of your uniform pieces.

If your club already has a fundraiser scheduled, you will be able to go ahead with it. However, I will not approve any new fundraisers until a new fundraising policy has been created. There is no date on the policy at this time but I expect it to be completed within the next two to three weeks. Stay tuned!

Family Weekend has actually arrived!
This Thursday we have a music assembly beginning at 8:20am in the PAC.  As our morning assembly time has been shortened this year, for this and every assembly please go directly to the PAC.

Please not that we have advisory on Friday..so please make sure to go there first.

Club sponsors have noted two students per club who can go to set up club booths for Fall Festival. Only students on that list will be permitted to go early to set up booths.

Don't forget to get meal tickets for your parents in the Deli.

DRAGONS Q&A
I’ve asked our HS faculty members a few questions and I’ll give you the answer. If you are the first to guess the correct faculty member, you’ll get yourself a donut!!  To submit your guess, reply to the email I send each week but remember to reply to me only.  Do not reply all.
Can you guess which teacher gave the answers to the following questions? Last week no one was able to guess the DRAGONS Q&A faculty member, Mr. Bracciano!
What was one of your favorite songs in high school?
Where did you dream about traveling to when you were in high school?
England
What did you like to do with your friends in high school?
Soccer!
Do you have any interesting high school fun facts?
I was in choir for 3 years.
How many years have you been a teacher?
