Goodbye and Good Luck!

Wow! What a tremendous send-off to the Class of 2019! Thank you to all who participated in any way to make our seniors' final week one for the books, from making colorful signs for the Senior Walk to assisting with videos through Journalism class. It was amazing to see so many of our alums return for the celebration as well. I will share some of the pictures in the next issue of the Descant. For now, please take a moment to view Ms. Dyrek's advisory (the Deez Beez) message for our G9-G11 students:

Band

Any Band student who has a privately owned instrument at school MUST take them home immediately. All school-owned instruments will be checked in this week. See Mr. Leonard

Monday: 3:00pm
Tuesday: 12:00
Wednesday: 12:00

Co-curricular Club Closeout

All club officers (and interested club members) should please take a few minutes to detail club activities and provide recommendations for the continuation of your club(s) here before May 31, 2019 @4:00pm.

Upon receiving feedback from sponsors, members, and officers, we will cross-reference insights to improve our club program and processes for next year. Strongly represented clubs that are able to demonstrate consistently positive feedback will be prioritized to continue next year. Your feedback is vital to this process!

Kindly discuss this among fellow officers and members so that your club is well-represented. If activities have finalized for the year, please facilitate communication among the group to ensure your club(s) has/have voice.

Additionally, with a few specific exceptions: funds raised by clubs MUST be repurposed before May 31st at 12:00pm.

If you have curiosities or doubts about club balance, and/or if you would like to brainstorm ideas about how to appropriate funds in a socially and/or environmentally conscious way, please reach out to kwilke@kis.ac.
