Advance Placement (AP):

AP Exams:
1. AP students must register in AP Classroom to order an exam. Your AP teacher gave you a code, please sign in with that code. If you are not registered for your AP class on the AP Classroom by Friday September 6th, then you will not receive an AP exam in May.

2. Payments for the AP Exams are being accepted from August 26th until September 27th.  If you fail to pay the fee within the timeframe, you will be removed from the AP course and your transcripts will show that you dropped the class.

Honors and AP Policy: Please review our policy on transfer students taking Honors/AP classes at KISJ.

The first Student Council Assembly for 2019-2020 academic year will be held on Wednesday morning at 8:20 in the PAC. Please be on time!

Thank you to officers for representing your initiatives at the 2019-2020 HSCc Club Fair! Thank you for participating students for your enthusiastic participation.

1. Officers: You should have already compiled preliminary sign up sheets and identified your officers. Once again, find your sheet on the second tab of this document.

2. All High School Students: The deadline to register your club affiliation has been extended to Tuesday, September 3rd at 9am. Please see this form, so that rosters can be officialized. It has been designed to allow speedy submission (<5 minutes).  Thank you for responding honestly and swiftly to this directive.

Once all students have registered, club membership will be verified to ensure that proposed clubs meet minimum membership requirements to run in an “official” capacity. Then rosters will be created in PowerSchool for all clubs so that participation and adherence to the Language Policy can be tracked.

Some policy changes are underway for certain HSCc Club operations. These new policies are outlined here, and will be reviewed more closely in an upcoming meeting with club officers (2 representatives from each club, date TBD). The hope is that clear communication of expectations will allow club activities run more smoothly this year.

Kindly contact kwilke@kis.ac if you or your club are in need of assistance. Hopefully we will verify club membership next week so that activities officially can kick off for the year, thanks to your cooperation!
